– President & CEO
Brian Doxtator is Principal, President, and Chief Executive Officer at the S&S Bolton Group. He provides leadership for the day-to-day management of the companies, including operations, strategy, and the delivery of results.
Brian brings over 25 years of experience in the utility and construction industries, with roles ranging from engineering, design, project management, and executive leadership. His commitment to business improvement and customer satisfaction drives the strong reputation of the S&S Bolton Group. Brian is a passionate business person and a strong team-leader who has helped build a team of approximately 300 dedicated staff that provide value for customers every day.
Brian holds an Engineering Degree from the University of Waterloo and a Masters of Business Administration from Queen’s University. He is also a Licensed Professional Engineer in Ontario. His education, training, and experience in the field provide the platform for continued success of the S&S Bolton Group going forward.
– Chief Financial Officer & VP Corporate Services
Yves Frechette is Principal and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at the S&S Bolton Group of Companies. He plays a critical role in developing and implementing corporate strategies and leads corporate services throughout the enterprise. He draws from over 20 years of experience in senior financial roles within various industries to oversee all financial and fiduciary responsibilities at the S&S Bolton Group.
Yves provides leadership for corporate business planning, health and safety, human resources, procurement, information technology, accounting, financial reporting and budgeting efforts across the Group. Yves applies his expertise as a professional accountant to ensure that the S&S Bolton Group is well positioned to meet its ongoing operational needs as well as its capital needs for future growth.
Yves is a Chartered Accountant and holds an Honours Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Ottawa.

– Residential Construction Manager
Dan Rollin is the Residential Construction Manager for S&S Electric, a division of the S&S Bolton Group of Companies. Dan provides the day-to-day leadership for one of the Group’s largest companies.
Dan brings 25 years of experience in the residential electrical industry to his role. Dan started as an apprentice in 1988 and completed his schooling requirements to become a licensed journeyman. He then became site foreman in 1990 and was eventually promoted to his current role of Residential Construction Manager, a position he has held since 2004. He leads Ottawa’s largest new-home construction team that includes 13 Site Foreman and over 70 licensed electricians. Dan is a “hands-on” leader who brings a complete focus to customer satisfaction.
Dan sits on several committees with the Greater Ottawa Home Builder Association (GOHBA), as well as other trade partner committees with various Homebuilders in the Ottawa market.
– Residential Administration Manager
Carole Roy is the Residential Administration Manager for S&S Electric, a division of the S&S Bolton Group of Companies. Carole has been the leader for the division’s Administration team since 2005.
Carole joined S&S Electric in 1985 as the company’s receptionist. She quickly gained valuable experience by mastering a variety of administrative roles including customer service, billing, estimating, and product specialist. Her vast knowledge across several administrative disciplines qualified her for the promotion to the role of Residential Administration Manager for S&S Electric in 2005.
Carole’s work principles are based on Customer Service and Teamwork. She returns all customer inquiries without delay. This is a significant demonstration of her commitment to offering the best customer service possible to all her customers, no matter how big or small they may be. Furthermore, she promotes and demands that same level of service from her team with whom she works closely with on a day-to-day basis with an open-door policy.
Carole enjoys getting involved and supporting her customers as is proven with her participation in various trade councils with local homebuilders.
– General Manager
Gilles is the General Manager for Bolton Electric, a division of the S&S Bolton Group of Companies. Gilles brings 20 years of experience within the electrical industry to his role as the day-to-day leader for the group’s commercial electrical division.
Gilles is highly creative and able to plan, design build, control, manage and assess complete electrical systems. Highly motivated and focused on delivering a positive experience to all his customers, he earns the trust required to garner repeat and referral business.
Gilles Venne is a Master Electrician and licensed electrician. He is a member of the Ontario College of Trades and is also a voice within the ECAO to promote the electrical industry and its objectives.
– Mechanical Manager
Phil Harris Jr. is the Mechanical Manager for Bolton Mechanical, a division of the S&S Bolton Group of Companies. Phil oversees the daily operations for the Group’s Commercial Mechanical division along with providing continual guidance and support to the department’s Project Managers, Estimators and Field Staff.
Phil brings over 30 years of Mechanical experience to his current role, from the beginning of his career in the Mechanical Construction industry back in 1981 when working both in the office and in the field for long-established locally based Megatech Contracting completing many and various medium to large size projects within the ICI Construction sector such as RMOC Headquarters / RCMP Headquarters / Regional Public Health LAB / Monfort Hospital / British High Commission / Grace Hospital / Customs Canada Headquarters / etc…, moving on to join Sayers and Associates and their Project Management team in 1992 to work as PM on large projects such as Great War Memorial Hospital / Perley Hospital / Civic Hospital / DND Headquarters /etc…, further moving on to join Comstock Canada and their Project Management team in 2001 to work as PM on specialized and sensitive projects such as Centre Block Underground Services Building / House of Commons Upgrade, Library of Parliament Upgrade and Rehabilitation / West Parry Sound Hospital / External Affairs / etc…, gaining a wealth of knowledge and experience in the Industrial Commercial Institutional Construction Industry over the many years by way of successfully executing the various roles of Mechanical Contracting inclusive of Foreman, Estimator, Project Manager and currently Mechanical Division Manager since joining the S&S Bolton Group of Companies back in August of 2007.
Upon successful completion of his education and obtaining diplomas from both South Carleton High School and Algonquin College, Phil continued on to obtain further education and training from within the Construction Industry and today holds multiple licenses and certifications such as OTAB Interprovincial Red Seal for Sheet Metal, CCA Gold Seal Certification for Project Management, CCA Gold Seal Champion, GSC Accubid Certification for Estimating and Change Order Management, OTAB Apprenticeship for Plumbing, Proof Management Certification for Supervisory & Productivity, ICS Diploma for Private Investigation, CSID Security Clearance of Secret Level II, as well is a member of various associations such as SMWIA, MCAO, SMACNA, CCA, OCA, TSSA and more.
Phil’s mantra is “to always operate with ethics and integrity all toward achieving a fair day’s work for a fair days pay”.
– Vice-President, Operations
Norm Legault is Vice-President of Operations for Teraflex Ltd, a division of the S&S Bolton Group of Companies. He provides overall leadership for the day to day management of Teraflex including sales, estimating and operations.
Norm has over 20 years of experience with Teraflex, beginning his career with the company as a labourer. He worked his way up the hierarchy gathering a wealth of experience in all facets of the company. He has held the Vice-President’s title since 2001. Norm prides itself on the relationships he has developed over the years with both clients and employees.
Norm holds an Engineering Degree from Carleton University with a concentration in Management.
